Smokey Chocolate Chip Cookies

Smokey Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
2 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
7 oz. smoked chocolate chips
3 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.

3. Cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.

4. Refrigerate dough for at least 1-2 hours. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until edges are lightly browned. (Cookie centers will not look completely baked and will finish off after being removed from the oven.)

5. Cool on pan for 5 minutes and transfer to a cooling rack.
